Description
Ivy Lodge is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with later additions to the rear. It is constructed of red brick, 19th century brick, and rubble flint, topped with a hipped slated roof. The building features two gault brick stacks and stands two storeys tall, displaying five unequal 'bays' on the main facade. A Tuscan portico leads to a half-glazed panelled door that has margin glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are three twelve-paned recessed hung sash windows set in cambered brick arches. The first floor has five hung sash windows, two of which do not have glazing bars. All the windows are fitted with louvred shutters.
