Description

The Three Tuns is a public house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with a plain tiled half hipped roof, a ridge stack located to the right of the center, and an end stack on the left side. The building has two storeys and an attic, along with a rear outshut. The front was re-faced in the early 19th century and has a three-unit lobby entry plan. The entrance includes a four-panelled door set within a doorcase that has panelled pilasters, corner bosses, and a shallow canopy. There are three horizontal sliding sash windows on the ground floor and three smaller similar windows on the first floor. The interior has been altered but features exposed floor frames.
