Description

Nos 39, 41, and 43 High Street are two dwellings that were formerly a farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century with later additions and 19th-century alterations. The buildings are timber framed and roughcast rendered, topped with an asbestos tiled roof. There is a red brick ridge stack located to the right of the center and a gable end stack to the left that is partly plastered. The structure is two storeys high and has a three-unit plan with an original lobby entry, along with two later rear wings. The right side features two 20th-century doors and four casement windows, while the first floor has three casement windows and one small light next to the stack. Inside, there are sealed hearths and cased ceiling beams.
