Description
Millside is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with a mid to late 20th century extension. It features a timber frame, rendered exterior, and a half-hipped thatched roof, along with a red brick ridge stack. The 20th century extension creates an L-shape with the original three-bay cottage, which is one storey with an attic and includes two dormers. The front wall has small pane, late 20th century casements. The original doorway is now hidden, and the current doorways—one in the left gable end and another in the right front wall, which is now blocked—indicate a subdivision from the early 19th century. To the left, there is a 19th century outbuilding made of brick with an interlocking tile roof. At the rear, there is a 19th century timber framed barn that is weatherboarded and has a slated roof.
