Description

Horseshoe Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, which has been extended and altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame that is plaster rendered and has a longstraw thatched roof, which is half-hipped with an original axial ridge stack made of red brick. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with three horizontal sliding sash windows on the front wall, one of which is likely located where the original entrance was. The current doorway is situated in a mid-20th century extension at the rear of the building.
