Description

Old Close Farm is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some elements from around 1840. It features a timber-framed structure that is plaster rendered, topped with a longstraw thatch mansard roof. The building has grey brick, single flue end stacks. Its layout consists of two bays on either side of a central hall and stair bay, with an outshut at the rear. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has two horizontal sliding sash windows on either side of the doorway.
