Description

Dove Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of clay bat and rendered on a brick plinth, featuring a long straw thatch roof that is half hipped at the right end. The cottage has a square grey brick ridge stack and follows a two-bay and lobby entry plan. It is one storey high with an attic and includes two dormers. On either side of the doorway, which is set in a gabled porch, there are two mid-20th century windows. To the left, there is a small single-cell addition that is also thatched and single storey.
