Description

Brocks Close is a cottage with origins in the 18th century, which has been extended towards the road and altered in the 20th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is plaster rendered, topped with longstraw thatch and has a gault brick ridge stack. A second ridge stack was added in the mid-20th century. The cottage has a three-bay lobby entry plan with the gable end facing the road, and it now includes a barn or outhouse at the rear. It is one storey high with an attic and has one gable dormer. There are two small sliding sash windows on either side of the doorway.
