Description

Merton Barn is a barn that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 18th century and the mid-20th century. The structure is timber-framed, covered with weatherboarding, and has a longstraw thatched roof. It consists of five bays and was originally designed with an aisle on the north side. The barn faces the road, and the barn door in the south wall has been replaced with glazing. This building was originally associated with 35 Broadway, known as Audley Cottage.
