Description

The Almshouses are a group of four buildings that have been converted into a single dwelling. They date from the 18th century and the 20th century. The structure is primarily made of brick and features a painted exterior with a tiled roof, which has been repaired at the internal and end stacks. The windows are modern casements, and there is a single doorway located on the left side of the building. The exact origins of the almshouses are unclear, but they were established on a more formal basis in 1883. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
