Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage located on the east side of Broadway in Grantchester. The building is constructed of brick, which has been painted, and it has a longstraw thatched roof. It features single flue end stacks. The cottage is one storey in height with an attic space, and has two gable dormers. Two recessed windows with small panes that slide horizontally are set within segmental arches; these are positioned on either side of the doorway, which is also within a similar arch. The original flush-panelled door remains in place.
