Description
No. 30 Abbey Street is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It has a timber frame that is cased in gault brick and features a plain tiled roof. There is a rebuilt red brick ridge stack located to the left of the center and a gable end stack on the right side. The house has two storeys and a rear outshut. The entrance is a plank door situated to the left of the center. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows, and on the first floor, there are three smaller casement windows, both sets featuring transoms, chamfered flat window arches, and projecting stone cills. The rear wing has a pantiled roof. Inside, the property includes an early 19th-century chimney piece that has been sealed.
