Description

The Shrubbery is an early 19th-century house located on Linton Mill Lane. It is constructed from flint rubble with brick dressings and features prominent giant pilastered quoins. The slate roof is adorned with cut and shaped ornamental bargeboards. The house has two storeys, with an architraved doorcase and a half-glazed door. To the right, there is one twelve-paned recessed hung sash window, and on the first floor, there are three similar windows with segmental arches. A boarded garden door with an ogee-head is set into the boundary wall to the left. Inside, the staircase includes recessed Gothic panels on the newel.
