It features a timber frame, rendered exterior, and long straw thatch covering two bays, with slate on the bay at the southeast end. The cottage has a half-hipped roof at the northwest end and a ridge stack with rebuilt grouped shafts set diagonally. The structure consists of three bays, with a baffle entry doorway now incorporated into a modern porch on the northeast side. The northeast side also has two dormers, one of which is gabled, while the southwest side features a boxed dormer and four modern ground floor casement windows.
