Description

This barn, located north-west of Docwra's Manor, dates from the 17th to early 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a 20th-century roof with two pitches. The structure consists of five bays and has an aisle. Inside, there are jowled main posts and arch-braced tie beams, along with braces between the arcade posts and wall posts. The east wall is framed, but the lower part of this wall was rebuilt with clay bat in the 19th century. An estate map from 1764 provides historical context for the barn.
