Description
The gates, gatepiers, and wall at Docwra's Manor are made of square red brick piers topped with limestone cornices and ball finials. The wrought-iron gates feature an overthrow decorated with C and S scrolls, as well as tulip and acanthus motifs, enclosing a modern replacement of the initial "W." The dwarf brick wall on either side is complemented by wrought-iron spearhead railings. Docwra's Manor was acquired by Joseph Woodham in 1743, and it is likely that the gates, wall, and piers were constructed around that time.
