Description

This barn, located approximately 35 metres north of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring a brick plinth and weatherboarding. The roof is made of corrugated iron. Notable architectural features include a projecting wagon entrance on the south side, which retains some original wattle and daub panels, as well as a 19th-century lean-to on the southwest. The barn consists of four framed bays, with wagon entrances located in the second bay from the west on both the north and south sides. Inside, the structure showcases queen post trusses supported by windbraces and transverse bracing.
