Description

No. 76 Ermine Street is a building dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the early 19th century. The front is plastered and the structure has two storeys and an attic. On the ground floor, there are bow windows supported by brackets on either side of a six-panel door that features a fanlight and a shell hood. To the left, there is an archway. A band runs along the first floor level, which has four sash windows with marginal glazing. The building is topped with a cornice and an old tiled roof that includes two flat-topped dormers and brick stacks. At the rear, there is a brick wing.
