Description
Montagu House, built around 1720, is a two-storey red brick building with an attic. It features five windows with flush framed sashes that have glazing bars, and a central Venetian window on the first floor, while the ground floor has no glazing bars. The central doorway consists of a six-panel door with a radiating fanlight, flanked by fluted pilasters that support an enriched entablature. The roof is tiled and includes three gabled dormers and brick end stacks. The southwest wing has two arched sashes and two Venetian windows, all with glazing bars, along with one dormer and brick stacks. On the northeast side, there is a six-panel door with sunk panels and a fanlight, also flanked by fluted pilasters.
