Description

Whitwell House, located at 71 High Street in Huntingdon, is a building dated 1727 on the rainwater head, though it appears to have been altered later in the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features stucco quoin pilasters and raised bands at each floor level. The building has five windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and segmental heads on the upper floors. A central door is accompanied by a wrought iron porch from the early 19th century. The house has a parapet, with the roof not visible, and brick end stacks.
