Description

These are a pair of gate piers dating to the mid-19th century but designed to appear from the 18th century. They stand at Number 70C on Huntingdon High Street. The piers are tall and substantial, constructed of red brick with decorative gault brick rustication. They have a moulded stone plinth and cornice, surmounted by large ball finials that feature square rustication.
