Description

Nos 86 to 88 on High Street are probably 18th century buildings that were altered in the 19th century. The front is rendered and features plat bands between the floors, although the lower band is obscured and interrupted by late 19th century shopfronts. The buildings are three storeys high with eight windows in total, although one is missing on the upper floor. All the windows are plain sashes. There is an arched doorway on the left side, and the roof is a steeply pitched hipped roof covered with modern tiles. These buildings are included for their group value.
