Description

No. 57 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The building is rendered and features a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, set on a plinth, with a plat band and a kneelered gable to the left. The roof includes two hipped dormers and a stack at the left end. There are two shuttered sash windows on each floor. The entrance door has four panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight, with a cornice hood supported by consoles. To the left, there is an outshot with a parapet that sweeps down, and a shuttered sash window at the left end.
