Description

The wall of the former market garden dates from the 16th century and late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond at the base and southern end, while the northern end and upper courses feature Flemish bond with some blue headers. The wall varies in height from approximately 6 to 9 feet on a plinth and extends about 150 yards along the west side of the High Street.
