Description

Oxenden House is an early 19th-century house located on the east side of Wingham High Street. It is rendered and features a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, sitting on a plinth with two string courses and modillion bracket eaves that support a hipped roof. There are stacks on the left side and at the rear center. On the second floor, there are two glazing bar sashes. To the left on the first floor, there is a two-storey canted bay with a glazing bar sash to the right, and on the ground floor, there is a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight and a cornice supported by consoles. The house is included for its group value.
