Description

No. 21 Bridge Street is a building that likely dates from the 17th century and has been altered over time. It is two stories high with attics, constructed from timber framing and plaster, and has tiled roofs with three gables at the back. The front block is mostly covered in 18th-century dark brick with red brick dressings. It features a range of seven sash windows with glazing bars, and the central upper window has a segmental head. There is a moulded band at the first floor level. The entrance has a central Doric wooden doorcase that frames a six-panel door, complete with panelled reveals, fluted pilasters, and triglyphs.
