Description
No 1 East Park Street is a late 18th-century L-plan house. It is constructed of gault brick with red brick detailing around the doors and windows. The house features a plain tiled roof with a dentil eaves cornice and tumbled parapet gables, along with end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range of hung sashes with margin lights set in cambered arches. The central door has two glazed upper panels and a rectangular fanlight. There is a late 18th-century wing on the right side, also made of gault brick, with a plain tiled roof and one similar hung sash on the first floor. Additionally, there is a single-storey wing to the right, constructed of red brick and rendered, which includes a modern shop front.
