Description

No 3 West Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century red brick house. It features a brick eaves cornice and a hipped roof covered with old tiles. The building stands two storeys tall and has two sash windows with moulded boxed frames. The ground floor windows have cambered head linings and late 19th century glazing. A brick stringcourse connects the first floor windows at sill height. The central door is adorned with a pediment and a dentil cornice, flanked by reeded pilasters, and has panelled reveals along with a six-panelled door. This house, along with the adjoining outbuilding and other nearby properties, forms a group of buildings of local interest.
