Description

15 West Street is a building from the 18th century or earlier, constructed of painted brick and featuring a steeply pitched old tiled roof. It has one and a half storeys and includes two dormers. The windows are late 18th century to early 19th century casements with glazing bars, although some have been replaced. There are three windows on the ground floor, and the eastern part of the wall is slightly advanced. The central door is topped with a pediment hood, which may have been replaced. This building, along with Harris and Hiscock, the adjoining outbuilding, Nos 5, 9, and Nos 15 to 21 (odd), and No 27, all contribute to a group of buildings of local interest along the street facade.
