Description

WEST STREET 1. 5231 (North Side) Titchfield No 15 SU 5305 6/499 II GV 2. C18 or earlier. Painted brick with steeply pitched old tiled roof. Large western chimney stack (with door to No 17 below). l 1/2 storeys with 2 dormers, late C18/early C19 casements with glazing bars, some replacements, 3 Windows ground floor. Eastern part of wall slightly advanced. Centre door with pediment hood which may be a replacement. Harris and Hiscock, Nos 3, the adjoining outbuilding, Nos 5, 9 Nos 15 to 21 (odd) and No 27 (all next to each other along the street facade) form a group. (Harris and Hiscock and the outbuilding adjoining No 3 are buildings of local interest).
