Description

No. 18 Market Hill is a late 18th-century house that was refronted in the early 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and has an L-shaped plan. The slate roof features a parapet with three rectangular recessed panels and a saw-tooth cornice, along with tumbled gables and end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with three modern hung sash windows set in cambered arches. The ground floor windows include glazing bars, and the entrance door has two fielded panels and two flush panels, topped with a rectangular fanlight.
