Description
The United Reformed Church is a non-conformist chapel built in 1838, as noted on a plaque. It has a gable end facing the road and is constructed from gault brick with Barnack stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. The pedimented gable end features a finial and ball pendant, and the eaves have a saw-tooth cornice. The road elevation includes canted corners with two-stage buttresses at each angle, which end in blunt pinnacles. On the first floor, there are two fixed light windows with glazing bars that intersect at the heads, flanking a similar three-light window set in Gothic arches with moulded labels and stops. The ground floor has similar windows in square-headed arches, also with moulded labels and stops, and there is a side entry.
