Description

No. 10 New Road is an early 19th-century cottage ornee. It is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan with an outshut and a lean-to at the rear. The building is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a thatched roof with end stacks that have pairs of octagonal shafts. The symmetrical facade includes two casement windows on both floors, each with leaded lights set in Gothic arched heads. There is an open, thatched porch leading to a door that has iron studs.
