Description
Nos 11 and 13 on High Street are late 18th century former farmhouses. They are built of colourwashed brick, with red brick on part of the rear wing. The plain tile roof features tumbeed parapet gables and a saw-tooth eaves cornice, along with a ridge stack. The buildings are two storeys high, with a range of four hung sashes at the first floor, which have cambered arches and glazing bars set in moulded architraves. To the left, there is a later door with a rectangular fanlight in a cambered arch. On the right, there is a late 19th century shop, which retains part of its architrave and features one bracket with a lion's head boss enrichment.
