Description

No. 8A on High Street is an early 19th century cottage that features a mid-19th century shop on the ground floor. The building is constructed of gault brick and has a slate roof with a shallow pitch. It stands two storeys high and includes one hung sash window with glazing bars, set within a moulded architrave on the first floor. The shopfront and doorway are adorned with a shared architrave supported by pilasters and topped with a plain entablature. There is a passageway located to the right side of the building.
