Description

No. 3 High Street is a house dating from around 1830, constructed of gault brick with a slate roof and end stacks. It stands two storeys tall and features cambered arches above two hung sash windows with glazing bars, located on either side of a central, flat-roofed, canted oriel window that also has similar sash windows. The entrance is marked by a central, reeded doorcase adorned with boss enrichments, leading to a door with four raised and fielded panels and two flush panels, topped by a semi-circular headed fanlight. Additionally, there is a mid-19th century double-fronted shop with a central doorway on the right side, featuring an architrave with pilasters and a plain entablature.
