Description

Nos 15 and 17 New Road are a pair of houses dating from around 1830. They are accompanied by a two-storey and attic outshut. The houses are constructed of gault brick, with a slate roof and end stacks. Each storey has a range of four hung sash windows with margin glazing bars, set within cambered arches. Two doorways are present, each with a doorcase featuring panelled reveals that continue into a round-headed arch with reeded decoration. One original four-panelled door remains, complete with two glazed panels, along with a semi-circular fanlight.
