Description

Burnsfield House is a late 18th century cottage that was raised to two storeys in the 19th century. It has an L-shaped plan and is constructed from local later gault brick, topped with a slate roof featuring ridge and end stacks. The first floor includes two hung sash windows with glazing bars set in segmental arches, and there are similar windows on either side of the central door, which consists of two glazed panels above four panels.
