Description

Nos 81 and 83 High Street are a pair of late 17th-century cottages, now two separate dwellings, which were refaced in the 19th century. The buildings are of colour-washed brick with a pantile roof. The front has two horizontal sliding sash dormer windows in the attic space, and two hung sash windows with glazing bars set within cambered arches on the main floor. A door with four fielded panels and two flush panels sits within a moulded architrave. A modern shop window and door are present to the right. A fire plaque is located above the door. The interior contains an inglenook hearth.
