Description

No. 8 Upton Road is a mid-19th century cottage ornee, believed to date from 1856. It is constructed of yellow brick and has a single storey. The central door features a rounded fanlight, with round-headed windows on either side that have Gothic intersecting tracery. The building is topped with a hipped thatched roof, which includes a dormer with a pointed head and casement. There are two yellow brick chimney stacks.
