Description

No. 68 High Street is an early 19th-century cottage built of yellow gault brick, topped with a thatched roof made of reed. The cottage features end stacks and end parapets on kneelers. It is one storey high with attics and has a symmetrical front with three dormers that contain 20th-century casements. On either side of the central doorway, there are two flush frame hung sashes, each with sixteen panes. The original reeded doorcase is adorned with boss enrichments at the corners.
