Description

The Almshouses, dated 1852 and bearing a plaque commemorating Mary Hatch, comprise a red brick building with yellow gault brick dressings and a distinctive fish scale pattern slate roof. The building is single-storied with gabled ends and a larger central gable. Each gable features original iron casements with diamond panes. Two entrances are provided through arched heads.
