Description
The Crook Log Public House is an 18th-century building located in Bexleyheath. Originally known as The Fox and Hounds, it served as a coaching inn. The structure has two storeys and features two windows on the upper floor, with the central window blocked. The exterior is made of painted brick and has a tiled roof. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays and an extension to the west that includes a third bay. The entrance has a doorway with a rectangular fanlight and a flat hood supported by carved brackets. The upper storey retains its glazing bars. The roof is gabled and tiled. There is a modern extension to the east, and further east, there is a weatherboarded outhouse that is canted towards the street, complete with bargeboards on the gable end.
