Description

No. 43 is a cottage dating from the early 17th century. It is timber-framed and has a plaster-rendered exterior with a half-hipped thatched roof made of reed. The original ridge stack is constructed from gault brick. The building has a plan consisting of three bays, with the doorway located at the service end of the hall. It is one storey high with attics and features one dormer. The cottage includes three horizontal sliding sash windows and a boarded door, along with a small window for the larder on the right side.
