Description

45 Hills Lane is a pair of mid-19th century brick houses, now combined into a single tenement. The brickwork is painted. It adjoins the rear wing of 64 West End. The building is two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars in plain reveals, each with a segmental arched head. A raised brick band runs horizontally above the ground-floor windows. The roof is slate-covered. The building is included in the listing primarily for group value, contributing to the character of the surrounding area when viewed alongside 64 West End.
