Description

Slipway Cottage Townsend House is an early 19th century pair of houses located on Victoria Parade in West Cowes. The building is constructed of white brick and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall with attics, showcasing a total of seven windows and four dormers. The structure has a parapet and includes sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. A large 19th century bay window is positioned centrally on both the ground and first floors. On either side of this bay, there are doorcases adorned with pilasters, a pediment, and a semi-circular fanlight.
