Description
No. 61 High Street is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of West Cowes. It is constructed of grey headers with red brick dressings and quoins. The building features a hipped slate roof topped with a glazed and slated belvedere. It stands four storeys tall and has two windows. The parapet adds to its architectural detail. On the first floor, there are two sashes with intact glazing bars and a square bay window. The late 19th-century shopfront includes partially reeded pilasters and a cornice adorned with modillions. A clock is suspended from the front on brackets.
