Description

This is an early to mid-19th century brick house located on St Mary's Street. It is two windows wide and three storeys high. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars, set in painted reveals. A four-panel door is located in a recessed brick reveal and is topped with a semi-circular fanlight. The roof is slate and hipped. The house acts as a visual stop to a longer row of two-story houses. It is included on the list because of its contribution to the wider group of buildings formed by numbers 70 to 86 (even).
