Description

This is an early 19th century brick house located on the west side of Grimwade Street. It is two storeys high and has a three-window facade. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in plain reveals, each topped with a gauged brick flat arch. A raised brick band marks the division between the ground and first floors. The front door is a six-panel design, featuring a segmental arched fanlight with radial glazing bars, panelled reveals, and columns. The roof is slate, hipped, and has a wooden eaves cornice. Number 68 is part of a group of buildings with numbers 77 to 83 on the opposite side of the street.
