Description
The Church of St Clement is a Grade II* listed building, primarily dating from the 15th century, with some 14th century work in the lower part of the west tower. The exterior features flint with stone quoins, Perpendicular windows, and a notable clerestory. The chancel was added in 1860, and the church underwent restoration and alterations in the 19th century. Inside, there is a west gallery supported by Corinthian columns and a carved cornice. The 15th century font is decorated with four wild men and lions on the stem, along with the symbols of the evangelists on the bowl.
