Description

Castlehythe is a mid-19th century brick house. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars. A central recessed porch contains a two-panel door approached by steps, with a semi-circular fanlight above, recessed brick reveals, and a gauged brick arch. The roof is slate and hipped. Castlehythe, along with numbers 3 to 17 (odd) and number 21, forms a group of mid-19th century gault brick houses set back from the road.
